Olympus EP-2, Image 10. Wat Bowonniwet, Bangkok

Rooftops at Wat Bowonniwet, Bangkok

Image specs: Olympus E-P2, f11, 1/125, ISO 200, 15 (30mm), 14-42mm f3.5-5.6 Standard Wide Zoom (M.Zuiko), white balance auto, i-enhance mode, hand-held.

Wat Bowonniwet is a short stroll from my flat in Phra Nakhon district in Bangkok. I often wander around at dusk in the serene environment to photograph – an escape from the hordes of UDD protestors nearby (see blog below) .

QUICK FACTS: The electronic viewfinder EV-2 (below) is a crisp, compact and rather beautiful device giving the micro-four-thirds EP-2 it’s near perfect SLR credentials (minus a mirror) with Olympus state-of-the-art Truepic V image processing engine. I love it’s practical, ‘carry everywhere’ functionality with beautiful image quality. I often hand hold shots from the EP-2 up to ISO 1250.

If you’re not much of Photoshop user the’ i-enhance’ mode will provide richer colour and subtly stronger contrast direct in-camera.
