The portability and high quality of the Olympus EP-2 is not only extremely practical on the road but useful in the office too.
The samples you see here are the selects and final use for two cover designs. Many preliminary shots were taken using aperture priority settings and the art filters – mostly ‘pop art’ for strong colours and ‘macro’ for close-up. The idea was to reproduce UNESCO publications in a striking graphic way showing the multitude of work published in 2009.
A variety of creative techniques were used such as zooming out during exposure and selective focusing.
In addition, I am involved with creating exhibition panels and photographing externally for stock images used in the UNESCO Image bank. These include images around Bangkok and the trips to Laos, blogged earlier.
